There was a CD in our hotel - Tomb Raider

Waking up in the morning, we got ready for the tour ahead of us, and went to eat breakfast. We could eat in the Damnak Lounge, but we chose not to because there wasn't much to eat in the Damnak Lounge, except for the fact that the juices they serve there are fresh, and you get more privacy. We went down to the ground floor restaurant, and because we were vegetarian, we asked them to make some noodles that we sort of customized. Personally, I think that their food is quite good and their service is actually quite good. After our breakfast, we went to meet our tour guide. Our tour guide was a national guide, and I think that his house was somewhere near our hotel because a van stopped by, and picked us up. Inside the van, there were already 5 people in the van. He brought us to the place that we needed to buy the temple pass, and the temple pass was very expensive - $37 (yes, 37 USD) for one person. I didn't need to buy the temple pass because I was under 12 years old. they would take your pictures, and this would be the final result. The first place we went to was Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat was really big, and it was never forgotten besides the time of the Civil War. It was built in the late 12th century, it was 65m (213 ft) and it was started by Suryavarman II and completed by Jayavarman Vll. It took 30 years to build Angkor Wat, and they estimated that it took more that 6000 elephants to build it. After going to Angkor Wat, we also went to La Phrom temple. - The Tomb Raider Temple. It was badly damaged by the trees, which destroyed a big part of the temple. The picture above shows you one of the trees growing out of La Phrom temple, and some of the trees eventually grew so big, it would be really hard to chop it off, so they just left it like that. We saw some broken parts of the temple, which they were still repairing. I also learned that if they needed to replace a block because they couldn't find a part that went there, they would go to the same area that they got the blocks from last time. When arriving back at the hotel,  it was already 5:

00PM. We watched a documentary of the temples of Angkor, and we also watched Tomb Raider. I liked it because the Illuminati gets destroyed at the end. When it was time, we went to eat. In our restaurant (I forgot the name). It had some tourists, but I think we were early, even though I think they eat earlier. The food was good, and I noticed one thing. In Siem Reap (maybe even Cambodia) lots of restaurants had a pot that held the rice, so rice would not go to waste. After dinner, we went to Phare, The Cambodian Circus. Our "hotel person",  Jenny Seangj told us that the topic would change after a short while, and said that she had alrealdy went there 5 times, and she still wants to go there. We took a tuk-tuk there, and when we reached, we saw the same person that took us to eat "yesterday". We went in, and I can tell you, the service was good. They provided you fans, and if you were in zone 1, which I was not in, you got free reusable bottles. I was quite happy that we didn't sit in seat one, because we were one of the first people in the line, which meant that we would be all the way in the front, and the bad thing was the fact that there were people with ghost masks running into the audience. Our topic was Sokha, and it talked about the life of the "vice CEO"'s life during the war. I thought that it was a really great show, except for the fact that the war part was quite creepy. After that, it was late. We went back to the hotel, and when we reached, our hotel person - "Jenny was working (it was her shift), and we chatted for some time. We then went back to our room, ready for our adventure tomorrow, still lying ahead of us.
Another plain day of school for you too? Where are you going? Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks For Reading My Blog!!! Please "Give" Me Any Comments You Have In The Comments Section Below!!! Stay Updated Some Other Good Posts!!!

Buddhism And Hinduism

Buddhism and Hinduism have a lot of similarities and differences. Buddhism & Hinduism share the same beliefs because Buddhism originally came from Hinduism. Since it's a religion, they both have gods. There are also some differences. Buddhists believe that nothing is permanent. They also pray and meditate. Praying reminds them of what Buddha thought when he was alive. Devout Buddhists are vegetarians because they believe that harming the smallest character, such as an ant, can harm someone or something's life. Lots of Buddhists refuse to eat eggs because they are also considered living. On the other side, Hinduism believes in 3 major gods. They only pray and have a bell to ring before going in or out a temple. These two are both religions, but their same, same, but different!

Slice Of Life #59 - Going To Siem Reap - Day One - Tuesday 24th, October 2017 - 24/10/2017 - Wrote On 23/10/2017

We departed in the afternoon, heading for Siem Reap. After checking in our luggages, we went to eat at a shop called BMS. I carried my own luggage, and my mom and dad checked in their luggage. After eating, we proceeded to the security area and went in to pass immigration. After immigration, we put our baggage into the security scanner, and when we got through, we just went walking to our gates.
After landing, I was actually quite surprised that their airport was quite small, but was quite nice. We walked off the stairs, and then through the hot sun. After that, we passed immigration. I was the first one, so after I passed immigration, I went to the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom, my mom and dad were already done taking the luggage off the conveyor belt, and we went out of the airport.

Usually we wouldn't have someone waiting for us outside, but in Siem Reap, there wasn't much taxis, so people from the hotel were carring signs looking for their clients. I found my dad's name, and so we went to the person telling him that we were here. He called the hotel taxi over, and we rode for about 15-20 mins to the hotel.
When reaching the hotel, we were greeted by a person who took us up to the 4th floor - the privilege floor, which was where we were staying. They took our luggages, and gave us a little welcome treat, which was watermelon juice - my favorite, and a type of small treat (I didn't know what it was). We learned that the 3rd and 4th floor all had their own reception. We booked tickets for a circus, and paid the money for the tickets. We would collect the tickets on the next day. After talking for a short while, we finally went into the room.
Once in the room, I started exploring the room, which was what I would do every time we first went into the hotel room. Soon, a person came up to pass us our bags, and then we started taking out everything we needed. I took the paper and the pencil (which by the way was not sharpened) and put it into my bag. The pencil was too big to fit into my pencil case, so I just put it into my bag along with the paper. I found a little "control panel", so instead of switches, we would tap buttons to on the lights. It had lots of labels, but it was also quite complicated to know which light was which because we did not have a sofa and one of the lights were labeled 'sofa'. I took a few minutes to figure out which was which and then turned on the TV so we could watch it.

When sunset was happening (which was 6:00 pm), we went to eat. There, we got our first tuk-tuk, and requested to take a picture with the driver. After taking a picture, we asked the driver to take us to "Chamkar", which was a vegetarian restaurant. When we reached there, we paid the driver 3$ (for your information, they use USD there). The driver asked what time to come back, and we told him to come back at 7:00, which left us with one hour to eat. There were lots of frogs jumping up and down, and the frogs were really small, yet they didn't run away from us. It became dark really quickly, and  it seemed like it was already 10 am. There was no one eating there, and we were the only people eating there for the whole time. Before they served the food, me and my dad explored the small garden they had there, which, of course, was swarming with frogs. Me and my mom took a picture  there, and went back to waiting for the food to come. We ate some fresh spring rolls, curry (which was not spicy at all) some rice, and also ordered a big bottle of water (which was expensive - 1$ - expensive for us at least). After dinner, there was a tuk-tuk outside, but it was a different one. He told us that his father (the previous person that took us to the restaurant) had told him to come here to take us to the night market. For proof, he showed us a picture of his father, and we went onto the tuk-tuk.
It didn't take long to reach the night market, and we paid the person 2$, and he asked us what time he should wait for us, but we didn't know, so we had to find another tuk-tuk when going home. There was not really anything we wanted, so we came back to the hotel with nothing new, or nothing we bought, at least. When reaching the hotel, we chatted a little with the person we checked in with before heading into our room. After heading into our room,  We took a bath, and watched people sing on the TV (well, that was what my mom wanted to do at least) and prepared to sleep, knowing that we had a long day in front of us, and a big adventure. I might even meet my classmate, Zhee Loc because she was also in Siem Reap for the holidays.

Slice Of Life #57 - A Update For The Week - Tuesday 10th, October 2017 10/10/2017

Image result for house of robots sister name    This week was quite a relaxing week. We didn't have school today and yesterday because we had student-led confrences. I didn't really chat much with my friends like last week, because I didn't have time. Recently, before I wrote this post, I was busy reading a book called House Of Robots by James Patterson, the bestselling author of Middle School and I Funny. This book is about a the life of a boy named Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez. Sammy lives in a whole house of robots. Of course, he is a normal kid, except for the fact that he lives in a house of robots. Sammy has a sister Maddie that can't go outside because she has severe combined immunodeficiency. Her body has a hard time fighting off all types of sickness, so she needs to be home schooled. Will anything happen? Read the book to find out! After I finish this post, I also plan to either finish that book or write. Well, I actually don't know what I am going to write.

I didn't chat that much as planned

Robotics Update

This week, I created a robot by myself with the theme my robot hero. I improved my robot, because before, it didn't have the ablity to clean anything. It only could walk. Now I have 2 sponges - one wet, one dry - to wet the floor, and then dry the floor. I am going to participate in the robotics competition. I also practiced controlling a drone for the competition (the drone was for beginners). The drone soon got out of control and started smashing into tables and chairs.
What did you do this weekend? What books did you read?

Image resultThis weekend, I went hiking in FRIM with my cub scout troop. It was really fun. I really spent most of my weekend chatting with my friends on hangouts. I video called my friend Toby and at that time, he was playing Hypixel. I was telling him what to do. I was actually kind of weird because I told him to play a game called Bedwars, and he wasn't really that good in that game, so he lost and got disqualified in the first 2 minutes of the game. Also, I finished a book called The Quest For The Diamond Sword. The book was about a person in Minecraft called Steve. When mobs come and attack his village and his friends, he is not happy. He goes to collect 40 diamonds so he can save his friends. He was never a person that liked adventure, but he was faced with that only option. He depended on his friends to help him and stay alive. Along the way, he meets some friends and some enemies. Read on to find out what happens in the story! I also found out that my friend's brother, had a youtube channel that reads books, and I also subscribed to his youtube channel along with 2 of my other friends. It was a nice and fun weekend.

What did you do this weekend??? Did you do anything fun??? Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks For Reading My Blog!!! Please "Give" Me Any Comments You Have In The Comments Section Below!!! Stay Updated Some Other Good Posts!!!

Slice Of Life #56 - What I Did This Weekend - Saturday + Sunday (Sunday Just A Little) - This Was Wrote On 25/9/2017 And Happened On 23/9/2017 - 26/9/2017

What I Did For This Weekend

Saturday

Robotics Update

I now am creating my own robot which means thinking about how to make my robot and how I can make it so it can move. There is a robotics competition coming up very soon, and I want to join it. The robot that I am creating now can help you clean the floor and clean the table(though not so well - I am thinking of ways to improve my robot). You still need to wait, so all it can do for you is probably to just help save your energy. I think I still need to improve my robot.

What I Did At Home

At home, I chatted with my friends, and I even video called my friend Tiago on Hangouts!!!

I recommend this book. I rate it four out of five stars.
I also read a book, which I finished - Miles Morales Spider-man *Thanks to my former teacher (my 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Victor for letting me borrow the book*.

Sunday

I went to a Parent Child Bonding Class. There, I did some flower arrangements. It was not very hard to do, and it was fun and the final result was very nice.

My final result:

My one was different from others. That makes mine unique!!!
